Snow in Stow, I Should be in Vegas

As of 9am, we've got about a foot of snow. School is cancelled, but we're learning about measuring with a yard stick.

Now, here's where I would be right now if I didn't fly home early to make sure my family was ok in the storm.

Wynn golf course

That's the view from my hotel room at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas this past weekend. And my clubs were right there with me. Had I not changed my flight to Monday night, I would have been stranded there as flights east are cancelled today.

Don't feel bad for me. I did get to play some great golf at the Paiute Wolf Course and Rio Secco.

Crazy Juggler in Faneuil Hall Boston

We took the kids in to Boston for a field trip yesterday (Sunday) which must include a stop by Faneuil Hall to see whatever street show is going on or the boys will stage a mutiny.

So we headed in early and got a parking spot right in Quincy Market across the street from the Hard Rock Cafe.  We went to the Museum of Science (since Alex is a scientist), had lunch at the Hard Rock, and then walked around Quincy Market.

The highlight of the trip was in fact the street show. The boys do know best.
